A full size clip from the original image. As I stepped out my back door I was amazed to see this turkey buzzard circling over head. (Does he know something?) So I immediately began snapping shots in full tele P mode. 632x418x72ppi.

Candle in the full sun of our kitchen window. Macro w/tele P mode for focus and exposure. 800x600x144. This candle is about 3 inches in diameter and 2/3/4 inches high.

800x600x72. Flower in same lighting as candle and same settings used. Autofocus works fine for me almost all the time in macro mode, but I do use manual focus when needed. That's what I paid for, right?

This flower is actually only about 1 3/4" in diameter - a miniature rose. - so it appears much, much larger than life in this zoomed macro closeup.
