Colors are very accurate. I lay down my glasses while shooting and when I turned to retrieve them I spotted this shot and just snapped it

No post processing - this is straight from the camera. I just reduced all images on this page to 1024x768 jpg format from the 2.7:1 JPEG originals.

The original is even sharper and more detailed. For example, I can easily make out various scratches on the bottom of the glasses frames, but they don't show up here. At about 2.5 MB the original is too big to post here.

One artificial candle provides most of the light. I could not have gotten this shot without a true SLR with TTL view and manual focus capability.

The E-10 is the most flexible Digital Camera I've ever used. It has every feature you'd expect and then some. And nearly everything is accessible from one or two dials or buttons. It's easy to change from Programmed Auto to Aperture Priority to Shutter Priority - just turn a dial. It wasn't long before I could do this without looking since Olympus wisely provided click stops on the dial!

Testing the auto focus in macro mode. Center Weighted metering gave good exposure. AF was fast and accurate. You can see scratches and dust on glass in original, quite sharp.

Again - this is straight from the camera. This camera is capable of very nice results even in fully automatic "point-n-shoot" mode - but it's really aimed at pros and advanced amatuers - not the point-n-click crowd. It rewards the craftsman who knows his trade!

No nasty noise problem here - even on a PC monitor. Very nice tonality, great detail and smooth accurate color.

No post processing - this is straight from the camera. I just reduced the image to 1024x768 jpg format vs. the 2240x1680 JPEG original.

The E-10 handles great and feels great. It's nicely balanced and has the best controls and menus I've ever seen. Kudos Olympus!
